Talk:Glen Campbell discography
This article is rated List-class on Wikipedia's content assessment scale. It is of interest to the following WikiProjects: | ||||||||||||||||||

I noted that there were some notes (proposed deletions?) regarding the Glen Campbell discography. I believe that both were misplaced.
1. The article is placed in table form, for ease of use. It shows the album, label, and year, making the article easily usable by any person searching for an album by this artist.
2. I am not sure how you would note this article. Many albums do not have easily located reviews. However, since the catalog of albums is varied, but consistent with record collectors and on-line searches, it would seem that both are poor criticisms.
3. The article serves a very useful purpose. It allows people interested in the discography of the artist to find the information in one location. More significantly, it is subject to peer review and editing, to ensure that the inforamtion is up to date and correct.
4. This document (glen campbell disography) is accurate and complete, and is easily navigable. If other pages were held to this standard, the article in question would be retained, but many others on your site would be removed.
Hard to read
[edit]The singles table is hard to read and confusing. Please use the standard format. --Lost Fugitive (talk) 22:53, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Death Valley single
[edit]I think the song title is actually "Valley of Death." There's a version on YouTube. — Parsa (talk) 07:32, 14 September 2011 (UTC)
- I have seen both, some 45s have Death Valley others have Valley of Death. But, since Valley of Death is the line used in the song I will change it. Thanks!Lumdeloo (talk) 08:21, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
UK discography
[edit]Who can help me with setting up a UK album discography for Glen Campbell? I think a separate one is needed because quite a lot of GC's regular albums were released under different names, with different tracklists, with different frontcovers in the UK. Some of them are now in the repackages sections (the Ember releases), which might not be entirely correct too. Adding them to the current list of studio albums seems confusing to me. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to deal with this. Lumdeloo (talk) 16:03, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

The Lockdown Sessions
[edit]Glen Campbell appears (posthumously) on The Lockdown Sessions (Elton John album). Should this be included in "Album appearances"? -- HLachman (talk) 21:03, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
Merge proposal: Southern Nights/Basic to here
[edit]Southern Nights/Basic doesn't appear to meet WP:NALBUM / WP:GNG, but merge/redirect here is a possible WP:ATD. Boleyn (talk) 17:00, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Boleyn: It's not notable, but don't see a point in merging or redirecting it. It's just a re-packaging of two existing albums with no new content. No one is likely to look up the re-packaging on its own, as it's a very obscure budget line release that only has an AllMusic entry because it exists.
